Regional Chair Gary Carr: Celebrating and reflecting on Canada Day

As we approach Canada Day on July 1, I’m grateful for the opportunity that it provides to come together as a community and take part in celebrations throughout Halton!

I also want to recognize the fact that Canada Day is an important reminder to reflect. We’re fortunate to live in a country that individuals of different cultures, religions and backgrounds call home. We can come together to embrace the values we share while recognizing and celebrating our diversity.
