Our Summer Student program offers paid work opportunities to eligible post-secondary students. Participants will gain invaluable hands-on experience in their fields and develop skills to help them achieve their career goals.

Application process
  • Visit halton.ca/jobs to submit an online application—only online applications will be accepted. Please include a personal email address on your application.
  • The job opportunities will be posted in January for one week.
  • Those selected for an interview will receive an email/electronic request regarding available interview dates/times. Interviews run February 16 to 28, 2017.
  • The employment period runs May 1 to September 1, 2017.

Eligibility criteria
  • Currently enrolled in full-time studies as part of a post-secondary program
  • Returning to full-time studies in September 2017
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada as a student
