Cannabis & the Workplace

Creating Your Workplace Policy

With the passing of Bill C-45 (the Cannabis Act), Canada will become the first G7 country to legalize the recreational use of cannabis. This new law will have an impact on workplaces, as employers will need to navigate issues around accommodation for the use of medical cannabis, impairment on the job, addiction to cannabis and workplace safety

This session will focus on helping employers to understand the changes, the implications for health and safety, and to provide practical solutions to the various challenges that will arise in workplaces post-legalization.
